This version of OPOS is the companion to POSS for Windows 1.4.3. It also supports the SureOne. Be sure to first install POSS for Windows 1.4.3 on 4694 and 4695 POSTs. This release can be used with Windows 95. Do not use this with POS Suite.

You must use the IBM 1.4.1 JVM or later. We do not support the Sun JVM with these releases. Use with Windows 2000/XP or Redhat Linux 7.1/7.3 only.  Version 1.71 and above support the IBM 1.41 JVM, include the JRE and are the first to support the 4800-7x1 and 4840-xx3. Version 1.72 and above of the Linux package only support IRES. For releases 1.90 and above, JavaPOS for Windows is combined with OPOS in a UPOS package, link above.

The extended file names used in this package are not supported by DOS utilities such as PKZIP. You should use WINZIP or an equivalent utility.This release can be used with Windows 95.
