As we resolve customer problems and enhance our POS drivers, we periodically update components of our driver packages. These improved modules are included in subsequent releases of
our driver packages. We also put these modules into our Knowledgebase to help those on older, unsupported releases perform self-support.
Please be cautious as you update DLLs and other modules. Usually it is best to update to the latest driver package rather than patch an older release.
Copy the existing driver.dll to driver.dll.old where driver.dll is the dll being updated
Copy the new driver.dll over the old one
Use regsrv32 to update the registry
Reboot the terminal
General Notes
If you see Search Results: No Documents Matched your query, it means that there are currently no updates to the
package.
Do not move or rename dlls as the registry is sometimes automatically updated to reflect the new name/location. This
can cause the new dll to be ignored.
